Privacy notice

This page explains which data the Flybay site collects, why it uses them, and how you can ask for information or exercise your rights. The text covers the project request form and the contact details published on the site.
Data controller
The controller is the person operating under the name Flybay. For questions about personal data, write to flybay.info@gmail.com.
Data we collect
If you send the form, we process:
- name;
- email address;
- phone, if you provide it;
- business name;
- products to sell;
- approximate number of products;
- features you want;
- any existing website;
- any extra details;
- confirmation that you have read this notice.
To limit automatic submissions, the server may keep in memory, for a few minutes, a technical identifier of the connection linked to send attempts. That data is not included in the email and is not kept in a permanent archive on the site.
Why we use them
The data are used to read the request, assess the project, and contact you. We do not use them to send newsletters, we do not sell them, and we do not pass them on for third-party advertising.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679: the processing is necessary for pre-contractual steps taken at your request. The checkbox in the form records that you have read this notice.
Who receives them
The form contents are sent to flybay.info@gmail.com. The mailbox is on Gmail: Google processes the message to deliver it and keep it in the inbox. The site also uses an SMTP mail service, configured on the server, to send the message. Whoever runs that service processes the data only to carry out the sending.
How long
The data stay for as long as needed to handle the request. If the contact becomes an engagement, the data useful to that engagement stay for its duration and for the period required by legal obligations.
Which data are required
Name, email, business, products, approximate number of products, the features you want, and acknowledgement of the notice are required to send the request. Phone, an existing website, and extra details are optional: if you leave them out, the request can still be sent.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use profiling cookies and does not embed analytics or advertising tools. Sending the form does not create an account and does not save the request in the browser.
Your rights
You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and portability, and you can object to processing in the cases set out by the Regulation. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it (opens in a new tab)). To exercise your rights, write to flybay.info@gmail.com.
The form is meant for people who run or want to start a business. We do not knowingly collect data about children.
